Jacky Teplitzky is a managing director at Prudential Douglas Elliman, New York City’s preeminent real estate brokerage firm. She, along with the team that she leads – the Jacky Teplitzky team – was ranked #1 at PDE for 2007. Jacky has sold more than $500 million in Manhattan properties and is ranked within the top one percent of the more than 30,000 brokers licensed in New York City.

Jacky is well-versed with the global market. While fully recognized for her work with clients in New York and around the US, her abilities with international clients have been widely admired and noted. Her international background is a contributing factor. Jacky was born in Chile, raised in Israel and lived in Spain and England before arriving in New York City in 1989. Jacky speaks English, Spanish and Hebrew. Her overseas clients are from South America, Russia, Europe and Asia. Her expertise in this category has been featured in many national and top-level media, including USA Today, The New York Times, Gotham Magazine and The Real Deal. She was prominently featured in PINK Magazine – a national magazine for executive women – for her deal with two Russian buyers, who purchased two apartments for $30 million. A major reason for her success with foreign buyers is her understanding of their individualistic needs – she knows that Asian buyers are distinct from European buyers who are distinct from South American buyers.
