
Norm Flynn
CEO, International Real Property Foundation
Norman D. Flynn serves as President and CEO of the International Real Property Foundation (IRPF), a Chicago and Washington, D.C. based firm working on land privatization issues in countries in emerging markets of the world. He is also founder and president of Norman D. Flynn Associates, Inc., a Madison, Wisconsin, USA, investment, real estate firm specializing in selling and leasing income properties and provides investment counseling to individuals and companies.
Flynn holds the professional designations of Counselor of Real Estate (CRE), Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). Flynn received his bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with concentrations in economics, English and communications.
Flynn was the 1990 president of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, the nation’s largest trade association, then representing over 800,000 members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry.
Flynn has worked with IRPF since 1992 as one of its Founders. He has traveled worldwide in emerging markets and has helped develop 75 Associations with over 200,000 members throughout the former Soviet Union/Soviet Bloc as well as Africa, India, Latin America, and Vietnam. He travels nearly one-half his time in this endeavor.
He and his wife, Susan, live in Monona, Wisconsin and have three children.
