Douglas Heddings, a senior vice president with Prudential Douglas Elliman and founder of TrueGotham.com, has been using video to set apart his listings in the marketplace with great success. Heddings says that video has helped him land listings as sellers become convinced of the marketing tool. Wow, great interview. Doug really hit on something that consumers care about. I see this "Square footage" issue come in my own market time and again. A great solution would be to have tax asesssors keep track of this data - or have some kind of building standard for measuring square footage.

I find this really interesting. I have found many people dont like to watch long videos...that they want the quick upload. It looks like this works great as a listing tool or for a certain niche. Great info. Thank you.

I think this is a great idea. I'm sure consumers would love to see more than just an image on the website. Being able to view home through video footage would help a great deal on the sales.
